Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors is at it again. He got ejected, his third for the season, for clocking Jusuf Nurkic with a wild swing in the Warriors vs. Phoenix Suns game on Tuesday, December 12.

The incident happened in the third quarter, with Green and Nurkic jockeying for position. Bleacher Report shared a video of that sequence.

It remains unclear what led Green to take that swing. Nurkic did not appear to be doing anything other than guarding the 33-year-old player. When he turned around, the swing in question appeared to be intentional.

"You have windup, impact, and follow-through above the shoulders to the face there with that open-hand swing and slap to the head. Clearly unnecessary and excessive. They got all the officials to look at it, all three have to agree for an ejection, and a flagrant foul penalty 2 was indicated," Kane Fitzgerald, the NBA's VP of Referee Operations, said via CBS Sports.

The Suns went on to win over the Warriors, 119-116.

Draymond Green lengthy suspension looms

The league will review the incident anew as Green and the Warriors await the sanctions, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Another suspension looms, something the struggling Dubs cannot afford right now.

Being his third ejection, the chances of being suspended are high for Green. However, there is no telling how long that would be. Considering his last one was a five-game suspension, his next one may be lengthier.

Green's decision-making has drawn flak and a reason head coach Steve Kerr is disappointed in him. While most like the demeanor and fire he shows in games, the problem for Green right now is that he fails to consider his actions' ramifications.
