The Chicago Bulls are not performing well this season, and there is talk that they may move some players. At the top of the list are Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan, players who could change zip codes before the February trade deadline.
Although other names could be dangled, the Bulls are not keen on sending out Alex Caruso. The 29-year-old guard is a fan-favorite and is a role player that any team would love to have on their squad.

Several teams are reportedly interested in the NBA champion guard, although the Bulls have allegedly turned down inquiries, per Shams Charania of The Athletic, citing sources.
Why teams are interested in Caruso?
There is no question that Caruso's team-first mentality is something that contending and rebuilding teams would love to have.
Aside from that, he carries an affordable $9.4 million salary that also appeals to teams. In all, he is the Bulls' best tradable player.
Bulls could be passing up good deals
While keeping Caruso makes sense, any trade pitch may still depend on the player/s and asset/s that other teams would offer.
Any Alex Caruso trade scenario will likely involve multiple players and assets. Should the Bulls find it appealing, Chicago may think twice.
As mentioned earlier, LaVine or DeRozan are the first ones likely to be dealt if the Bulls plan to break it up, NBC Sports reported.
Interested teams may request for Caruso as well. If the player/s and assets offered are hard to resist, expect the Chicago Bulls top brass to reconsider their stance on Caruso carefully.
