The career of Super Bowl champion wide receiver Justyn Ross remains in limbo, and a newly released affidavit detailing new troubling details is unlikely to help.

Before he was arrested by Shawnee police officers last October 23, Ross allegedly went off on his girlfriend after he discovered that she was cheating on him.

Moreover, the 23-year-old NFL player also reportedly threw objects at the woman and also knifed her Mercedes Benz. It was added that officers found a small scratch on the woman after the altercation.

All these were detailed in court documents obtained by TMZ Sports.

Ross admitted to breaking a computer but claimed that it was his property. Apart from that, he said he did not break anything else, KMBC reported.

Despite his claims, there was, however, a male witness who alleged that he saw the former Clemson Tiger damage the vehicle of the victim with a knife.

Ross is unlikely to rejoin the Chiefs soon

Ross is facing one count of domestic battery with no priors and one count of criminal damage of less than $1,000. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges in an initial hearing last October 24.

He is due back in court on December 4. Per online records, the 23-year-old has applied for diversion in the case.

Justyn Ross was placed on the Commissioner's exempt list last October 27. He is barred from playing in practice or games for now. However, he is allowed to attend meetings and get any medical treatment necessary for now, with his criminal case still unsettled.

Before his arrest, Ross played in 7 games and totaled three catches.
