Steelers: Daring Offense Overhaul Targeting TJ Watt Suggested for Pittsburgh as Matt Canada's System Struggle

Pittsburgh Steelers fans are blaming Matt Canada for their offensive struggles this season, and they believe a new offensive coordinator is needed.

They lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars last week, and the backlash is expected to be more intense after their slow start again versus the Tennessee Titans. They had to mount a comeback to pull off a 20-16 win.

Is that the best solution? Kevin Adams of Bar Stool Sports Steelers thinks it is time for the team to look into the future by trading linebacker TJ Watt.

He reasoned that Watt's age is a factor in why they need to trade. Kenny Pickett, who has taken over the quarterbacking duties, has also slowed down. Thus, there is a need for a new QB.

What would the Steelers get if they traded Watt? Adams' partner in the podcast, Jersey Jerry, said it would be quality drafts.

"If the Steelers traded, let's just say, T.J. Watt at the deadline, I can guarantee you, they would've gotten more than two firsts," Jerry said.

"They probably would've gotten two firsts and a good player, two firsts and third, two firsts and maybe even a second."

This suggestion is too bold to be taken seriously by the Steelers' front office, but sometimes, desperate times call for desperate measures.

Canada's head asked in an NHL game

Many Pittsburgh Steelers fans want something above average for their teams. To them, a 4-3 record is not a good look.

They only have Canada to blame for the struggle. Players have come to his defense, but fans are not contended.

The criticism even spilled over to a National Hockey League game when the Pittsburgh Penguins audience shouted "Fire Canada" to express their disappointment for the recent loss to the Jaguars.

The Steelers management has yet to comment about disgruntled fans.
