If there's someone who knows a thing or two about rehabbing an Achilles injury, that is Aaron Rodgers.

The NFL has been struck again by a devastating injury after Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins was ruled out for the season due to an injury to the right Achilles tendon.

He finds himself in a similar situation with the New York Jets' Rodgers, who also tore his Achilles in Week 1.

Being a veteran of the league, the four-time MVP did not waste time to show his sympathy to Cousins.

He said he reached out to the Vikings quarterback and offered advice, including recommending a doctor so that he can recover quickly.

Rodgers was also ruled for the rest of the season but he is keeping his fingers crossed that he will still be able to return for his team.

There is no definite return for him yet but just a few weeks ago, he showed NFL fans his quick recovery after getting on the field in crutches and throwing some football.

Rodgers' advice to Cousins

The Super Bowl champ said he recommended considering his personal doctor Dr. Neil ElAttrache and his rehab team to Cousins.

"The other thing is how quickly do you want to come back? I said 'let's come back as quick as possible," he shared to Pat McAfee Show when asked about his conversation with Cousins.

"But Kirk's in no rush. Like, he's not going to be able to make it back for this season."

Rodgers' rehab might be something Cousins should look at. According to reports, it is possible that he could return before the season ends.
