The Philadelphia Eagles are unbeaten no more after a shock upset at the hands of the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium.

Jets fans flocked to the stadium early, witnessing an encouraging moment with star quarterback Aaron Rodgers throwing football on the sideline without crutches six weeks after injuring his Achilles.

The main show was much better as their team clawed their way back to win against the Eagles, who were the only unbeaten team before the game.

Coach Robert Saleh is dealing with several injuries on his players, but there is one area his confidence never wavered - their defense.

He is so proud of his boys on the defensive that he exclaimed that the league's top quarterbacks had a hard time against them.

"I thought defense, per usual, was outstanding," he told reporters after their 20-14 win. "Through these first six weeks, we've played a gauntlet of quarterbacks. I know we haven't gotten all wins, but we've embarrassed all of them."

Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts experienced this first hand on Sunday when Jets safety Tony Adams intercepted the ball from him in the game's dying moments. He then picked the ball up, ran from the 47-yard line, and returned it to the 8-yard line.

CJ Mosley credits willingness to step up

Mosley himself was also in awe of their defense against the Eagles. To him, it was because of their ability to elevate their game when necessary.

"Everybody adjusted, everybody believed in each other."
