Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson sustained a setback during their dominant 27-3 win against the Tennessee Titans on Week 3 last Sunday, September 24.
The 28-year-old picked up a right shoulder injury when he was tackled by Titans safety Amani Hooker while attempting a read-option run in the third quarter.
Watson missed the following week's game against the Baltimore Ravens on October 1, which resulted in a humbling 28-3 beatdown.
The former Clemson standout quarterback has completed 65 of 102 pass attempts for 678 yards, four touchdowns, and two interceptions in the first three games of the 2023 NFL season.
NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero confirmed that Watson is dealing with a rotator cuff contusion on Tuesday, October 11.

Due to the rotator cuff contusion, Watson will miss the team's Week 6 game against the 49ers on Sunday, October 15, at home in the FirstEnergy Stadium.
The quarterback has not participated in a complete practice session since September 22, two days before he bruised his rotator cuff.
After engaging in limited practices, the three-time Pro Bowl selection was expected to play against the Ravens in Week 4. However, the team decided to sideline the former Houston Texan three hours before the game.
PJ Walker will reportedly fill in for Watson after rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson started against the Ravens.
Thompson-Robinson had a difficult NFL debut, throwing three interceptions.
