NFL legend Tom Brady is the latest sports personality to issue a statement on the Israel-Hamas conflict on Friday, October 13.
The five-time Super Bowl MVP condemned the attacks in an official statement on Twitter.
"There should be no gray area about condemning Hamas' terrorist attacks on Israeli citizens," Brady stated. "No human deserves this."

"I'm heartbroken for all the innocent lives lost in Israel and Gaza this week, heartbroken for the losses that are sure to follow. It's horrifying to watch this violence continue to unfold with no indication of stopping. My family and I will continue to pray for the families that find themselves in the middle of this tragedy," the seven-time Super Bowl champion added via Fox News.
Tom Brady's statements come a day after Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James and business partner also issued a joint statement on the ongoing tragedy in the Middle East.
Latest update on Israel-Hamas war
The Israeli military continued with its airstrikes and are reportedly preparing for a possible ground invasion as they attempt to free about 150 hostages, the Associated Press reported.
However, a ground offensive could result in more casualties.
The Hamas assault last Saturday has already claimed the lives of more than 1,300 people in Israel, including 247 soldiers. Israel authorities also added that more than 1,530 Hamas militants have been killed inside Israel.
