Chet Holmgreen of the Oklahoma City Thunder and Victor Wembanyama of the San Antonio Spurs gave NBA fans a glimpse of things to come this coming NBA season.
But unfortunately for Holmgreen, Wembanyama got one over him with a highlight reel in the opening quarter.
The sequence happened about 7 minutes into the game, with the 19-year-old French player barreling to the basket against Holmgreen. Unfortunately for the 21-year-old Thunder center, he got hit in the play, resulting in him sprawling on the floor.

Wembanyama also flexed on Holmgreen after the play, a post with over 2 million views already.
Holmgreen would repost the same play and call out Wembanyama for headbutting him.
"The headbutt is an unstoppable move fasho," the second overall pick of the 2022 NBA Draft posted.
The Thunder went on to win against the Spurs, 122-121. Holmgreen had a good outing, finishing with 21 points and nine rebounds in 16 minutes of action for OKC.
The former Gonzaga Bulldog missed the entire 2022-23 NBA season after suffering a Lisfranc injury in his foot that he got from a Pro-am game, ESPN reported. However, he is good to go this time around to help the Thunder in their upcoming campaign.
On the other side, Wemby led the Spurs with 20 points, five rebounds, and two steals in 19 minutes of action, Kens5 reported. All eyes will be on the French beanpole who should give Gregg Popovich and the Spurs much-needed help this NBA season.
