New York Jets coach Robert Saleh is not ruling out the possibility of Aaron Rodgers returning before the 2023-24 NFL season ends. He had an interesting take on it.
With most practically ruling out the four-time NFL MVP, Saleh hints that this will only make Rodgers determined to prove critics wrong, SNY reported.
"When people doubt him, I think he's the type of guy that gets stronger... He's got that mindset where, if someone tells him he's not capable or something's impossible, he's like, 'You'll see.' And so, no, I don't put it past him," the 44-year-old said.

Aaron Rodgers bullish on return
The chances of Aaron Rodgers returning this NFL season took a different twist when the 39-year-old play-caller mentioned that he was way ahead of normal protocols on The Pat McAfee Show via ESPN.
It would be a miracle if Rodgers were to return. However, there are precedents that even the Jets need to address. That includes making a push to be in the NFL playoffs.
Once that is accomplished, the Jets need to make a huge decision immediately. They would need to decide whether to go with Rodgers or stick with Zach Wilson, who is currently calling the plays for them.
The 24-year-old QB is under immense pressure stepping into the big shoes of Rodgers. He showed glimpses of improvement against the Kansas City Chiefs. However, his efforts remain short of expectations, with the Jets reeling to a 1-3 win-loss record, the Associated Press reported.
