Golden State Warriors point guard Chris Paul has been a starter for all 1,214 regular-season games and 149 playoff games he has played during his 18-season NBA career.

However, his starting role in his new team may not be guaranteed, especially with Stephen Curry as the team's primary point guard.

Despite this uncertainty, the 38-year-old veteran is willing to adjust his role as long as it's in the name of winning.

Paul mentioned an experience when he came off the bench during the 2008 United States Olympic team in Beijing, China, emphasizing his commitment to winning and willingness to do whatever it takes to help the team succeed.

"I think anybody who knows me knows I'm all about winning. Whatever I can do to help our team win. I know Coach and us, we are going to talk about it and see what he likes," the NBA 75th Anniversary Team member said.

Warriors starting lineup is the best in the NBA

The Warriors' conventional starting lineup, consisting of Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins, Draymond Green, and Kevon Looney, was the best in the league during the 2022-23 regular season, outscoring opponents by 21.9 points per 100 possessions.

Warriors forward Draymond Green recognized the dilemma surrounding the coaching staff.

"We did have the best starting lineup in the league, so you can't ignore that. And yet, you can't ignore that Chris Paul is Chris Paul ... What I do know is whatever is best for this team is going to happen," Green said.
