Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, who has transitioned into a role as a CBS Sports analyst, drew attention by making a noteworthy comparison involving Miami Dolphins star Tua Tagovailoa.

The former four-time Pro Bowl selection pointed out a resemblance between Tagovailoa's present performance and the peak years of NFL legend Tom Brady.

"Tua is playing like Tom Brady in his prime," Romo proudly declared.

Tagovailoa has started the 2023 NFL season on a high note, winning September's AFC Offensive Player of the Month.

Throughout the month, the 25-year-old completed 72 out of 104 passes on 71.3 percent completion rate, amassing 1,024 yards, throwing eight touchdowns and two interceptions, and putting up a 121.9 passer rating.

Notably, he leads the league in both passer rating and yards per attempt, with his 10.1 yards per attempt being two yards better than any other player in the league through Week 3.
