Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes backs the rumored romance involving teammate Travis Kelce and pop icon Taylor Swift.

Like most, the two-time NFL MVP was aware of Swift's presence when the Chiefs played and won over the Chicago Bears on Sunday, September 25.

Better yet, Mahomes confirmed that he met the American singer-songwriter and had a lot of good words to say when he spoke to KSHB 41 in Kansas City.

"Yea I met her. She's really cool. Good people," Mahomes said via CBS Sports. "But like Trav said, I'm gonna let them have their privacy and just keep it moving," he added.

What is the latest on the Travis-Swift romance?

The rumored Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift romance has been in the air for quite some time now, and nothing has been made official. However, Swift's presence at that Chiefs vs. Bears game clearly shows the real score between the two.

Regardless, Travis Kelce prefers to keep things private as far as the real score between him and Taylor Swift is concerned. However, his comments on the New Heights podcast are bound to spark more romance rumors.

"I just thought it was awesome how everybody in the suite had nothing but great things to say about her," Travis said. "The friends and family. She looked amazing. Everybody was talking about her in a great light."

Kelce spotted getting comfy with Swift

Aside from that, the latest bombshell from TMZ should further affirm the real score between Kelce and Swift.

The 33-year-old singer was seen draping her arms around Kelce in the post-game, clearly a sign that the two were pretty comfortable with each other.

The shots were taken at a post-game private party held at Prime Social in Kansas City, Missouri.
