Jimmy Garoppolo took a couple of rough shots in the Las Vegas Raiders' loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 3. The two-time Super Bowl Champion was never evaluated for a concussion, and now many are wondering if Jimmy Garoppolo is playing in Week 4.
Raiders' Jimmy Garoppolo injury status
Based on the latest update from Raiders coach Josh McDaniels on the status of Garoppolo via USA Today, the 31-year-old will enter the concussion protocol after the Las Vegas Raiders' loss to the Steelers on Sunday, September 24.
"I'm not even sure what hit, or if it was just the accumulation of, I have no idea. There was never a conversation about that," McDaniels said. "I'm not exactly sure when it took place."

The 31-year-old NFL veteran was sacked by T.J. Watt late in the first half and continued to play. He took another roughing-the-passer penalty from Minkah Fitzpatrick in the fourth quarter. In all, the Illinois native never got evaluated for a possible concussion.
Who fills in for Garoppolo?
With Garoppolo's status for Week 4 in doubt, McDaniels will be left with no choice but to use a different play-caller against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Josh McDaniels will likely turn to NFL veteran Brian Hoyer or take his chances on rookie Aiden O'Connell, a fourth-round draft pick out of Purdue.
This places added pressure on McDaniels and the Raiders, with frustration building up from within. One player who was pretty vocal after their latest loss was Davante Adams.
"We've got to go out there and do it. That's the theme of this year is, doing it. Not just talking about it and figuring out what we need to do. We did all that last year. This year we gotta be about it," Adams said via the New York Post.
The Chargers are -4.5 favorites over the Raiders in Week 4 per DraftKings Sportsbook, compounding the misery of the struggling Raiders.
