The Cincinnati Bengals' Joe Burrow calf issue is a growing concern, although it appears the 26-year-old has decided on it moving forward and for as long as he can bear it.

Per an update from the 2021 NFL Comeback Player of the Year, there were no significant setbacks regarding his calf injury when he spoke to Laura Rutledge of ESPN via Adam Schefter. However, it was noticeable that Burrow was still bothered by it.

Regardless, the most important thing is that the Bengals are finally back on track. Cincinnati won over the Los Angeles Rams, 19-16, notching their very first win of the 2023-24 NFL season, The Athletic reported.

However, their first win this NFL season was far from perfect. They were sluggish against the Rams, although their defense held up and allowed them to book their first win, ESPN reported.

How long can Burrow hold up with pain?

Burrow had 259 passing yards, most of which he was able to get from the 26 completions he made. However, the 25-year-old Bengals QB also missed 23 other passes and even threw an interception in the game without scoring a touchdown.

From how Burrow talked, it appears he will continue to play throughout the pain in his calf. It remains to be seen if this gamble will pay off for Burrow and the Bengals.

Cincinnati is scheduled to face the Tennessee Titans next, with Burrow's overall health still a concern. The Titans are 1-point favorites over the Bengals, according to BetMGM via Yahoo Sports.
