The Houston Texans secured their first victory of the season in a stunning upset against the Jacksonville Jaguars, 37-17, on the road at the TIAA Bank Field on Sunday, September 24.

Rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud led the way for the Texans while achieving a historic milestone.

The former Ohio State player became the first quarterback in NFL history to put up a minimum of 900 passing yards, four passing touchdowns, and zero interceptions in his first three career starts, according to research by ESPN Stats & Information.

"I have great guys around me. Nothing I can do without those guys up front battling, the receiver running the right route at the right depth, [offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik] calling the right plays at the right time," Stroud said.

Stroud has now thrown 121 consecutive pass attempts without an interception through three games, setting a new NFL rookie record for this feat and surpassing the previous record held by Warren Moon with 103 in 1984.

The 21-year-old completed 20 of 30 passes in the game, accumulating 280 yards and tossing two touchdowns while rushing the ball three times for 14 yards.
