Darnell Dockett Cheap Shot: Cardinals Player Stomps on Hand of Rams' Chris Williams [VIDEO]

The Oklahoma State cheerleader trying to trip Oklahoma's Eric Striker was amateurish ... especially compared to Arizona Cardinals' defensive tackle Darnell Dockett.

Deadspin.com posted a video from a website called gifulmation.com, showing the 10th-year veteran stomping his right foot on the right and of St. Louis Rams offensive tackle Chris Williams. Fox Sports also had video of the play.

By all accounts, Dockett tried to stomp on Williams' hand, then kept jawing at the Rams protector. Williams, the sixth-year veteran from Vanderbilt, got up and got in Dockett's face.

A day earlier, an Oklahoma State cheerleader was caught on video trying to trip Oklahoma Sooner Eric Striker on the game's last play after scored a touchdown to give the Sooners a 33-24 victory over the Cowboys.

Before Sunday's game, Dockett tweeted, "I have to go HAM today...... No other choice......"

Deadspin.com surmised that Dockett's phrase meant he was going to step on someone's hand.

Both FanSided.com and Bleacherreport.com reported that the Florida State alum likely will receive a phone call or a letter from the NFL league office along with a hefty fine for the appearance of an intentional action by Dockett.

No penalty was called on the play, which took place about five minutes left in the third quarter, according to Profootballtalk.nbcsports.com. It reported that Williams pushed Dockett at the end of the play. Williams was on the ground and was using his right hand to push himself off the ground when Dockett came over and stepped on the hand.

The Cardinals beat the Rams 30-10 to push their record to 8-5 and in the thick of the NFC wild-card race.

It has not been a good few weeks for Williams. He left the Nov. 24 game against the Chicago Bears for concussion-like symptoms. He was able to return and play the next week against the San Francisco 49ers.
