New Orleans Saints tight end Jimmy Graham will have one less thing on his mind as the team opens their 2023 NFL season at home against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.
Authorities have cleared the 36-year-old of all charges after he was arrested on the evening of August 19 after acting erratically at a Southern California resort.
Police suspected Graham of being under the influence of a controlled substance, and he was taken into custody after obstructing a police officer.
The team said that the tight end "experienced a medical episode last evening, which resulted in him becoming disoriented," and Dr. John Amoss believed it to be a likely seizure. Graham spent the night under medical supervision and testing.
"Thanks for [the] LAPD and just how quickly kind of everything went down and kind of how helpful they were through the process," Graham said on Thursday, September 7.
