Aaron Rodgers of the New York Jets will be in the spotlight for the coming NFL season, an intriguing union that resulted in them being selected for the 2023 edition of "Hard Knocks" on HBO.

The HBO series finale will be aired on Tuesday, September 5, and a glimpse of things to come was shared over social media featuring no less than the four-time NFL MVP, Masslive.com reported.

In the clip, Aaron Rodgers shared anew the moment he saw a UFO, calling it like a scene from the science fiction film, "Independence Day."

"We heard this sound and we saw this tremendously large object moving through the sky," Rodgers said. "And it was like a scene out of Independence Day. Whatever the hell it was, I don't know, but it was definitely identified. It was definitely flying. It was definitely a large object."

It appears this clip was based on the same UFO tale the 39-year-old quarterback shared in 2016.

The UFO sighting claim of Aaron Rodgers allegedly happened in 2005. He was still a prospect then, two months away from being drafted by the Green Bay Packers, NFL.com reported.

Rodgers had traveled to New York to tape a segment for "Cold Pizza," an old ESPN program. After the taping, the future NFL Hall of Famer headed over to New Jersey to stay overnight at the childhood home of former Cal teammate Steve Levy.

Both had just eaten dinner but were later drawn out to the sound of a siren.

"Because of the overcast nature of the night and the snow, you couldn't make out ... it was behind the clouds we were seeing, but it was definitively large, moving from left to right. ... It was me, Steve, and his brother that saw it," Rodgers shared.
