Isaiah Thomas is showing that he still has the hops to play NBA basketball, and his latest stat line at Jamal Crawford's The Crawsover Pro-Am league is proof of it.
The 34-year-old All-Star exploded for 51 points and 10 assists on Sunday, August 27, proving to one and all that he can still be explosive if given the chance. Some highlights of what the NBA journeyman can still do were shared on social media by The CrawsOver Pro-Am Basketball League.
After leaving the Boston Celtics in 2017, the 5-foot-9 cager struggled to continue at the level of play that endeared him to the NBA world.
He bounced from one team to another but never got his NBA career back on track.

Last season, Thomas joined the Charlotte Hornets but played in only 17 games. His numbers were hardly impressive, averaging only 8.3 points, 1.4 assists, and 1.3 rebounds in 25.3 minutes of action, according to Basketball-Reference.
Before the Hornets, he had stints with the New Orleans Pelicans, Los Angeles Lakers, and the Dallas Mavericks. Those stints hardly showed his efficiency since he had to play behind those respective teams' top stars.
Isaiah Thomas holds NBA career averages of 17.7 points, 4.8 assists, and 2.4 rebounds in 550 regular season games.
However, the options of Thomas are not limited to the NBA. He could join Ice Cube's Big3 League, where some former NBA stars are playing.
Isaiah Thomas has options with his explosive showing, something he has done in the past. However, he needs to pick it up a notch if he wants to stay longer in the big leagues.
