University of Iowa's Caitlin Clark is among the best college basketball players in the country, and her greatness was immortalized at the Iowa State Fair.
An edible butter sculpture of the decorated college player emerged in the fair, along with icons from the state of Iowa, including NFL Hall of Famer Kurt Warner and Iowa State football player Jack Trice.
The 21-year-old is one of the biggest stars in NCAA Division I, setting the women's scoring and assist record in a single tournament during the Hawkeyes' 2023 run, where they reached the championship game, albeit losing to LSU, 102-85.
There have been discussions that Clark is already the greatest basketball player to come out of the state, having been raised in West Des Moines.

Fans react to Caitlin Clark's butter sculpture
X user Howard Megdal claimed that the sculpture is as "Iowa" as it can get.
Meanwhile, user @BigRorDawg urged the Iowa State Fair to do butter sculptures of two Iowa natives in the NBA -- Keegan Murray and Harrison Barnes. Both are playing for the Sacramento Kings.
On the other hand, user @TaylorNotSoGang was not so impressed with the look of Caitlin's sculpture, comparing it to the infamous Cristiano Ronaldo bust from years ago.
