Brazilian model Gisele Bundchen opened up about her divorce from seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady after 13 years of marriage in an interview with Vogue Brazil.
The two started dating in 2006 after a mutual friend introduced them via a blind date, and they married in 2009. The couple had two kids together, while Bundchen is also a stepmom to Brady's son from a previous relationship.
The 43-year-old supermodel said, "Breakups are never easy, especially when the media is speculating every step of the way."
However, she sees the divorce as a lesson to grow from despite the challenging nature of the situation.
"I've always believed that every situation, no matter how challenging, teaches us something and helps us grow," Bündchen said.
The former Victoria's Secret Angel shared that she tried to focus on her children, health, projects, and dreams as she navigated through the divorce.

Speculation about the reason for divorce
Following their announcement of divorce in October 2022, many have speculated that it was due to Brady returning for his 23rd NFL season after announcing his retirement just 40 days prior.
Bundchen responded to the claims, not flat-out denying it but also saying that the reports were just "one piece of a much bigger puzzle."
She also denied forcing Brady to choose between their marriage and his profession, saying she will always support the quarterback in whatever makes him happy.
Brady is now being linked with Russian supermodel Irina Shayk. The two were spotted on a date night in NYC a few weeks ago.
