Future Hall-of-Famer Dwyane Wade responded to Paul Pierce's claims about their careers with a nice clapback.
The Miami Heat icon sarcastically said in a guest appearance on the Dan Le Batard Show that "rent is expensive in America," and he is "living rent free" in Pierce's mind.
Wade also added that he does not need to say anything since the media document everything, and he would let others talk about his playing career instead.
The 41-year-old noted that he is done playing the game of basketball, and he does not want to compare himself to someone who is also done playing, as well as someone who is currently playing.
"I'm happy with my career. I don't know who's not happy with theirs, but I'm sorry if you're not. But I'm happy with the way mine went," the 16-year NBA veteran concluded.
Wade won three championships with Miami in 2006, 2012 and 2013. He was named the Finals MVP in their first title run.

Paul Pierce's statements
The Celtics legend made headlines last month after comparing his career to Wade, saying that he would've done more if he had the situations that Wade was in.
The 2008 NBA Finals MVP said that his career went underappreciated because he didn't get to play with other great players while adding that he had a better offensive game than the Heat icon.
Pierce also claimed he would've won more championships if he had Wade's former teammates Shaquille O'Neal, LeBron James, and Chris Bosh.
