USC Trojans incoming freshman guard Bronny James is doing well after suffering from a sudden cardiac arrest during a team practice last Monday.
The 18-year-old's condition is stable enough that his parents, Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James and his wife Savannah, are feeling "relieved," according to a report by TMZ Sports.
On Monday, the couple put everything on hold when the 6-foot-3 hooper collapsed and was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center's intensive care unit (ICU) in Los Angeles.
They are now "calmer" and "optimistic" after receiving enough reassurance from doctors that their firstborn will be fine.
The 911 call was made at 9:26 AM from USC's Galen Center, the team's arena and training facility. Sources added that the emergency was a Code 3, meaning the ambulance had lights and sirens going on.
Bronny will undergo further testing to determine what caused his heart to stop and trigger the health scare.
