Former NBA veteran Eddie Johnson made a savage remark on Draymond Green regarding his punching incident with Jordan Poole in an appearance at the SiriusXM NBA Radio show.

Johnson, who played in the league for 17 seasons, took the side of Poole in the situation, saying that the Warriors organization should have been more patient with the young player and helped him grow into an adult.

The 1989 NBA Sixth Man of the Year also included Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Steve Kerr as part of the failure to fix the tense situation in the team following the incident.

Johnson reminisced about the duo of Gary Payton and Shawn Kemp, whom he played with as rookies with the Seattle SuperSonics, and noted their combustible tendencies.

The 6-foot-7 former forward reiterated that he, alongside then-veterans Nate McMillan, Sam Perkins, and Michael Cage, corrected them in private to help them grow as players without public humiliation, and the Glove is forever thankful for it.

After failing to guide him, Johnson continued to criticize Green for throwing Poole under the bus, calling it "bad leadership."

Draymond Green falls for fake account

The Warriors forward fell for a fake quote stating that NBA legend Kevin Garnett criticized him for the Poole punching incident, comparing it to a senior punching a freshman.

Green clapped back at the supposed quote, but the 2004 NBA MVP quickly defended himself, saying the quote did not come from him.

Garnett called out Twitter owner Elon Musk to "fix" the problem of misinformation in the social media platform.
