Filipino center Kai Sotto failed to get any minutes for the third game in a row for the Orlando Magic in the NBA Summer League.

Orlando also lost their third consecutive game, an 82-80 overtime loss against the New York Knicks at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas on Wednesday night. The Magic are now eliminated from the Summer League Playoff contention.

Filipino fans, known to be passionate lovers of the game, were already fuming during the Magic's last two games against the Detroit Pistons and Indiana Pacers, wherein their compatriot was also benched.

Orlando Magic's Facebook page was flooded with "angry" and "laugh" reactions from irate fans this past week, and many users commented #LetKaiPlay on the team's posts.

Kai Sotto expected to play in the last Orlando Magic Summer League game

The Orlando Magic confirmed that they will play the popular Filipino center during the final game of their Summer League campaign against the Portland Trail Blazers, according to Filipino journalist Homer Sayson.

The game against the Blazers will be held tomorrow, July 13 (Las Vegas time), at the Thomas & Mack Center.

Sotto remained positive despite his lack of playing time following his previous benching against the Pacers last Monday.

"I've been enjoying the process. We started training in Orlando and now in Vegas. It's been fun, surrounded by really good guys, coaches. It's been a fun experience so far," the 7-foot-3 center said.
