Several Formula 1 drivers were excited to have Brad Pitt alongside them during the British Grand Prix weekend in Silverstone.
The Academy Award-winning actor is filming his Apple Original F1-themed movie, which Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton is a producer.
Pitt joined the briefing of the 20 drivers of the Formula 1 grid to explain details about the movie for the weekend and moving forward. The film crew is expected to be present for several other races later this season.
"Probably the best drivers briefing we've ever had," Hamilton mentioned Saturday after the qualifying session. He has been heavily involved in the film's production to ensure it would become the most accurate racing film ever.
Pitt and his co-star Damson Idris were seen walking in the grid and standing with the drivers during the national anthem, wherein they had their own garage for the fictional 11th team APXGP.

APXGP car revealed
Formula 1 unveiled photos of the APXGP car, which is based on an F2 car and will be edited to look like an F1 car in post-production.
The car, draped in a black-and-gold livery, features Mercedes-AMG branding, as the Mercedes F1 team helped design and develop the car.
In preparation for his role, the 59-year-old actor trained for more than 1000 kilometers at the Circuit Paul Riccard, home of the French Grand Prix, using a real F2 car.
Filmed scenes of the APXGP car on track will be combined with real footage from the current F1 season.
