There is a new side reportedly joining the Kylian Mbappe transfer saga.

Premier League giants Liverpool are ready to break the world-record transfer fee by bidding $275 million for the services of the French forward. It will then be up to the player to make the decision.

Mbappe's current club Paris Saint-Germain held the transfer fee record when they acquired Brazilian superstar Neymar in 2017 for $263 million.

Varying reports state that Real Madrid, which has been linked with Mbappe for years, is willing to offer $130 million up to $220 million for the PSG superstar.

The tumultuous transfer saga began when Mbappe informed PSG that he would not exercise his option for the 2024-25 season to become a free agent in June 2024. However, the 24-year-old publicly stated that he is happy in the French capital and plans to spend the upcoming 2023-24 season with PSG.

Meanwhile, club management was not happy about the decision, and they want to avoid potentially losing Mbappe for free next year, forcing them to sell the player for a windfall this summer.

Kylian Mbappe's Mother is a Tough Negotiator

Mbappe's mother, Fayza Lamari, who also acts as his agent and manager, has built a reputation for being a ruthless negotiator for her son.

During a similar situation last year involving a potential Madrid move for Mbappe, Lamari didn't give an inch in terms of the conditions laid out by the Spanish giants. They were willing to let Mbappe keep his commercial rights, which they usually do not do when a player arrives at the club.
