Portland Trail Blazers superstar Damian Lillard and his agent Aaron Goodwin are set to meet with the franchise to discuss the team's direction moving forward, according to Chris B. Haynes of Bleacher Report and TNT.
Haynes added that the NBA 75 member does not need to be on a team with multiple All-Stars. A team with a shot of winning a title is enough for him.
The team just drafted 6-foot-2 guard Scoot Henderson as the third overall pick, who was touted as the class' second-best player. The 19-year-old plays the same position as the Blazers superstar.
Lillard's dream scenario is for the Blazers to re-sign forward Jerami Grant and acquire free agent Draymond Green from the Golden State Warriors, as per Sam Amick of The Athletic.

Damian Lillard Interested in Miami Heat
Amick also said Lillard has shown serious interest in 2023 NBA Finals runner-up Miami Heat, who would pair him with stars Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo.
Despite not having a no-trade clause in his contract like Bradley Beal, it is still widely believed that Lillard possesses a great amount of leverage in choosing his next destination due to the enormity of his deal.
In 2022, he signed a two-year, $122 million extension with the Blazers, which would keep him in Oregon until 2027. Lillard is projected to become the highest-paid player in the league in the 2026-27 season, earning over $63 million in salary. It is the first single-season pay of over $60 million in NBA history.
