The game's future stars enter the league annually via the NBA Draft, and this year's edition is a bit more anticipated than usual.

French wonderkid Victor Wembanyama, the most-hyped prospect since LeBron James in 2003, will most likely get selected by the San Antonio Spurs as the first overall pick. Other prospects to watch out for are Scoot Henderson, Brandon Miller, and identical twins Amen and Ausar Thompson.

This year's draft will only consist of 58 picks instead of the usual 60 due to tampering violations committed during free agency by the Chicago Bulls and the Philadelphia 76ers, which resulted in them losing their second-round picks.

Getting their name called by NBA Commissioner Adam Silver and shaking hands with him as he gives the team draft hat is a dream come true for most basketball fans and players, and this is where it happens.
