Following multiple reports surrounding Chris Paul's future this past week, the future Hall-of-Famer dropped a major bombshell on Thursday.
When asked if he wanted to stay in Phoenix, the 38-year-old had a resounding answer.
"Absolutely. That's why I'm there," Paul said, according to an article from the Arizona Republic.
Widely considered among one of the greatest point guards of all time, Paul is entering the third year of a four-year contract worth $120 million.
The twelve-time All-Star is set to earn over $30 million per season in 2023-24 and 2024-25.

Chris Paul's Future in Phoenix in Doubt
Bleacher Report's Chris Haynes reported last week that Phoenix would waive Paul, making him one of the top free agents in the market this offseason.
Haynes also stated that Paul intends to play for several more years, looking to help a team with championship aspirations.
However, later reports from ESPN's Adran Wojnarowski and The Athletic's Shams Charania state that the Phoenix Suns organization is still weighing its options on whether to waive, trade, or keep the point guard.
Paul's representatives are also said to engage in a series of conversations with the franchise regarding the player's future with the team.
Nicknamed CP3, Paul arrived in Phoenix in 2020 by means of a trade. Alongside star Devin Booker, they led the team to the 2021 NBA Finals, coming up short against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Two disappointing playoff runs followed, with both campaigns ending in blowout losses on their home floor in the hands of the Dallas Mavericks in 2022 and eventual NBA champion Denver Nuggets the year after.
