Demand for Inter Miami match tickets has soared tenfold following the MLS club's acquisition of the world's greatest player, Lionel Messi.
Ticketing company Logitix said there were four times the amount ticket sales on Wednesday than in the past six months combined, according to TMZ Sports.
The average price for an Inter Miami home game seat has skyrocketed, going from $15 to $230, a huge 1,398% spike.
On the other hand, other MLS cities are very excited to watch Messi play, with the average price for a ticket to an away Inter Miami match increasing from $53 to $251, up by 374%.
A day after the transfer news broke, tickets to all Inter Miami matches, home or away, were completely sold out. Resellers are jacking the prices, ranging from $800 to $10,000.
Messi's best friend, Sergio Aguero, could not even score tickets from the man himself.

Scarce Seats for the Lionel Messi Show
Inter Miami's DRV PNK Stadium (pronounced Drive Pink) in Fort Lauderdale has a capacity of 18,000 people, a far cry from the previous home stadiums of the Argentine.
FC Barcelona's Spotify Camp Nou, the largest stadium in Europe, can hold up to 100,000 people. Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain's Parc de Princes can seat more than 47,000.
Alongside San Jose Earthquakes' PayPal Park, the DRV PNK Stadium has the smallest capacity in the whole MLS.
However, that is about to change soon. Inter Miami is set to open the Miami Freedom Park in 2025, a newly improved privately-funded stadium that can house up to 25,000 fans.
