Ja Morant Rumored to Be Suspended for 30 Games

Jordan added this was relayed to NBA Commissioner Adam Silver, but he will still go through with the suspension, with the verdict looking to be 30 games.

Co-host Charlamagne said that God is not buying the excuse, asking why Morant didn't immediately reveal that it was a toy gun from the start. He also pointed to the statement of apology with a guilty tone.

Multiple reports cited that Morant's punishment is expected to be significant and unprecedented. The Grizzlies star flashed a gun on Instagram Live for the second time last May.

He is suspended from all team activities of the Memphis Grizzlies organization while the NBA finalizes its verdict on the troubled guard.

The league is expected to reveal its decision after the NBA Finals.
