Former NBA All-Star DeMarcus Cousins is tearing up the competition in Puerto Rico's Baloncesto Superior Nacional, where he is currently playing for the Guaynabo Mets.

The two-time All-Star has been with the team since April, according to USA Today.

A highlight video of his latest game is making rounds on social media, where the center is seen dominating opponents with threes, dunks, midrange jumpers, and drives to the hoop.

DeMarcus Cousins Hits Game-Winner

Cousins' Guaynabo Mets narrowly escaped Vaqueros de Bayamón, 101-100, thanks to a stepback basket beyond the arc with seven seconds remaining from the 6-foot-10 center last Tuesday.

Another video on social media showed highlights of Cousins scoring 37 points on an efficient 12-of-15 shooting, including three from downtown, alongside 7 rebounds last week against the Mayagüez Indians.

Cousins is best known for his time with the Sacramento Kings, where he spent six-and-a-half seasons before being traded to the New Orleans Pelicans. He suffered a torn Achilles during his stint with the team and bounced around the league afterward.

The two-time All-NBA Second Team member last played in the NBA for the Denver Nuggets in 2022, wherein he set the franchise record for the fewest minutes played in a 30-point game.

He did that feat on March 4 of that year, scoring 31 points in 24 minutes, adding 9 rebounds and four assists.

Last March, Cousins appeared on SiriusXM NBA Radio, expressing his frustrations on not landing an NBA job despite his belief that he could still play at a high level.
