Heat: Insane Kevin Love Stat Is a Bad Omen for Jayson Tatum, Celtics

Kevin Love has once again captured the attention of NBA fans, but this time it's not due to a standout performance on the court. Rather, it's due to a unique statistic involving him that suggests the Miami Heat are bound to make it to the 2023 NBA Finals.

The Heat, led by the greatness of Jimmy Butler, currently hold a commanding 3-0 lead against the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Celtics Struggle vs. Heat

The Celtics have struggled as a home team throughout this postseason, but many hoped they would overcome their 0-2 deficit on the road, making a historic comeback and secure another trip to the NBA Finals. However, it appears that the Heat are proving to be too formidable to handle.

Compounding this notion is a viral stat involving Kevin Love, which asserts that he has reached the NBA Finals every year he has made the playoffs, per Legion Hoops.

This year, Love finds himself with the Heat, who are just one victory away from securing their place in the 2023 NBA Finals. If they succeed, Love will have achieved an impressive five Finals appearances. His previous four trips were with the Cleveland Cavaliers, led by LeBron James and Kyrie Irving, from 2014 to 2018. These are also the only four times Love has reached the playoffs prior to joining the Heat.

Both the Love stat and historical precedent seem to favor the Heat's journey to the NBA Finals. No team in the history of the playoffs has ever managed to overcome a 0-3 deficit in a series, so it seems unlikely for Boston to make a comeback.
