Ja Morant, the star guard for the Grizzlies, has been suspended from all team activities by both the team and the league due to his off-court behavior, prompting another investigation into his conduct.
The NBA Commissioner, Adam Silver, had previously met with Morant after a similar incident in March, which resulted in an eight-game suspension.

Adam Silver Was Shocked
In an interview before the draft lottery in Chicago, Silver expressed his shock upon seeing a video over the weekend and stated that the league is investigating the matter to determine the exact details of the incident.
Although the video quality is poor, Silver assumed the worst and emphasized the need to uncover the truth.
This is the second time within a span of three months that Morant has been observed on Instagram holding what appears to be a weapon. The first incident led to the aforementioned eight-game suspension in March, resulting in a loss of approximately $669,000 in salary for Morant.
However, the suspension could be significantly longer and more financially burdensome this time.
The video in question was captured on Saturday night and quickly circulated online. The video was streamed on Davonte Pack's Instagram account, who is known to be connected to Morant.
The video reveals Morant briefly displaying a handgun while seated in the passenger seat of a vehicle. The moment is extremely brief, lasting less than a second, but it shows Morant seemingly holding what appears to be a weapon.
This marks the third NBA investigation concerning Morant and the potential involvement of firearms in 2023.
The seriousness of the situation suggests that the suspension and consequences this time could be far more severe, both in terms of duration and financial impact.
The league and the team are determined to gather all the necessary information and make an informed decision regarding Morant's actions.
