Despite the enthusiastic pleas of the co-owners of Wrexham, Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, Welsh football legend Gareth Bale has declined to come out of retirement to play for the club next season.

The Hollywood actors had reached out to Bale following Wrexham's promotion to the English Football League, with McElhenney inviting him to play a round while trying to convince him to return to the pitch.

Reynolds added to the plea, jokingly offering to shave a golf course onto McElhenney's back if Bale agreed to play for Wrexham for a season.

However, Bale has made it clear that he has no plans to interrupt his retirement, stating that he is content with spending time with his family and playing golf.

Gareth Bale Achieved All His Goals

According to agent Jonathan Barnett, Gareth Bale has no intention of returning to play professional football because he lacks the motivation and physical fitness to do so.

Barnett explained that Bale had achieved all his goals, including playing for Wales in the World Cup, which was a lifelong dream.

However, his body has been struggling for the past few years, and he realized that he could no longer play at the highest level. Therefore, Barnett believes that retirement was the right decision for him.

He will not follow in the footsteps of his former Wales teammate Hal Robson-Kanu, who has offered to come out of retirement to play for Wrexham next season.

Bale, widely regarded as one of Wales' greatest-ever players, retired in January after a successful career that included five Champions League titles with Real Madrid and 41 goals in 111 appearances for Wales.
