Mike George, the founder of OneLegacy Sports Management, representing Dillon Brooks, disapproved of Shams Charania's report that the Memphis Grizzlies will not re-sign Brooks.

George publicly expressed his disappointment with Charania in a tweet on Wednesday evening, accusing him of spreading false news and attacking players. He questioned why any player in the league would talk to him.

'Under Any Circumstances'

Charania's report, published on Tuesday, stated that the Memphis Grizzlies had informed Dillon Brooks that he would not be re-signed under any circumstances, according to league sources. Brooks was reportedly told about the Grizzlies' decision to move on in exit meetings with team officials in recent days. Both sides agreed that it would be best to have a fresh start.

The report has garnered much attention in the NBA world over the last few days, and Brooks' agent has now publicly slammed it. It remains to be seen what will come of this, as Brooks' representation has made it clear that they did not provide this information.

Dillon Brooks has had a difficult few weeks, as his behavior on the court during the Grizzlies' first-round series against the Lakers attracted negative attention.

Brooks' antics, including calling LeBron James old and getting ejected for a low blow, have overshadowed his defensive work and led to questions about his immediate future as he enters free agency.
