Tim Tebow News: ESPN, CBS, Fox In Bidding War For Heisman Trophy Winner As College Football Analyst ?

ESPN, CBS and Fox have all zeroed in on Tim Tebow as a college football analyst for next season and are soon expected to wage a bidding war for the the former NFL quarterback's services.

According to The Big Lead.com, Tebow, who was released by the New England Patriots during the preseason and hasn't garnered any genuine interest from any other franchise, has finally started to realize his NFL playing days may truly be behind him.

But the 26-year-old former Florida star still clearly has football on the brain. Enter ESPN, whom the Big Lead reports already has a show in mind for the former Heisman Trophy winner.

The Big Lead reports ESPN is eyeing Tebow for a role on its soon-to-launch SEC Network "College Gameday" show alongside Rece Davis and Paul Finebaum. The website reports CBS is countering by offering Tebow the lure of working on what's widely considered the SEC best games each week. The network is also reported to be open to the idea of blowing up its entire pregame show and making major changes to it that best fit Tebow's strengths.

Tebow last played in the NFL with the Jets in 2012 when he completed just six passes for 39 yards. His best season came in 2011 with Denver when he threw for 1,729 yards and 12 touchdowns.
