A statement given under oath from Davidson County stated that the incident occurred in the parking lot, where Claybrooks is said to have grabbed his ex-girlfriend's cell phone from her hand and thrown it to the ground, causing damage.

The affidavit reportedly noted that the injured person had several bruises and abrasions on her right hand. She claimed to have informed Claybrooks' current girlfriend that she had spent the previous night with him and possessed evidence of this on her phone, which led to the alleged altercation.

Claybrooks is a Nashville native and has been released on a $2,500 bond. He has been arranged to attend the court hearing on May 1.

According to arrest records, both charges against Claybrooks are misdemeanors, and the vandalism charge is $1,000 or less. The arrest report is not yet public information as the case is still open, according to a spokesman for the Nashville Police Department.

The Jaguars have issued a statement saying that they are aware of the incident and are currently gathering information but will have no further comment at this time.
