The Tennessee Titans finally snapped their two-game losing skid with a 20-point win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 14. The Titans will look to extend their winning streak to two games when they travel to Pittsburgh to face the struggling Steelers. Who will prevail in the Titans vs Steelers matchup. Here's a breakdown of this key AFC duel.

Tennessee Titans installed as -1 favorites

The Tennessee Titans came off their bye week refreshed, defeating the Jacksonville Jaguars at home in Week 14. The Titans pulled off a 20-0 victory over the Jaguars to improve their record to 9-4. It was a significant win for the Titans, who climbed up to second place in the AFC standings heading into Week 15.

Tennessee's defense took center stage in the Week 14 win, with the Titans recording their first home shutout since 2000. Tennessee recorded four interceptions against Jacksonville with Buster Skrine, Rashaan Evans, Jayon Brown, and Kristian Fulton each recording a pick.

The Titans pressured Trevor Lawrence all afternoon long, sacking the Jaguars quarterback three times. That helped Tennessee record its first shutout victory since 2018 when they defeated the New York Giants. The last shutout win for the Titans at Nissan Stadium, however, came two decades ago on Christmas Day in 2000 when they defeated the Dallas Cowboys, 31-0.

For the Titans to record the road win against the Steelers, they will need Ryan Tannehill to replicate his performance against the Jags. He did not record a single turnover in Week 14 despite getting sacked four times. Tannehill completed 20 of 31 passes for 191 yards. He also ran for 29 yards and a score on four carries.

Pittsburgh Steelers enter Week 15 as +1 underdogs

The Pittsburgh Steelers stumbled to yet another defeat in Week 14, losing 36-28 to the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday Night Football. The Steelers are now in serious danger of missing the playoffs as they dropped to 11th place in the AFC standings with a 6-6-1 record.

The good news for Pittsburgh fans is that the Steelers are not far behind the sixth-placed Indianapolis Colts, who carry a 7-6 slate. Even the AFC North title is still in play for the reeling Steelers with leaders Baltimore sporting an 8-5 record.

Time is running out, though, for the Steelers, who need to record a win against Tennessee to boost their playoff hopes. The Steelers have won four of their seven games at Heinz Field this season. They will be tested by a Titans side that is 4-2 on the road this campaign.

It is important for the Steelers that they get off to a strong start against the Titans. They trailed by at least 17 points in three games last month. Pittsburgh trailed the Vikings 29-0 at one point before staging a late rally in that game.
