A key divisional matchup will be heading our way in Week 15 as the Los Angeles Rams host the Seattle Seahawks at SoFi Stadium. The Seahawks and the Rams are slowly gaining momentum, winning their last two games to bolster their respective playoff bids. Who will prevail in this Seahawks vs Rams clash? Here's a breakdown of this NFC West showdown.

Seattle Seahawks enter Week 15 as +6.5 underdogs

The Seattle Seahawks remained in the hunt for the final wild-card spot in the NFC after pulling off a resounding 33-13 win over the Houston Texans in Week 14. The Seahawks are still in 13th place, but they now trail the seventh-placed Washington Football Team by one game heading into Week 15.

For the Seahawks to extend their winning streak to three games against the Rams, they will need Russell Wilson to continue his outstanding play. He completed 17 of 28 passes for 260 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions in the win against the Texans. Tyler Lockett benefited from Wilson's highly efficient play, catching five passes for 142 yards and scoring in the Week 14 win.

The Seahawks must also establish the run game against the Rams. They ran for 193 yards in the win against Houston, the bulk of which came from Rashaad Penny. He went berserk on the ground against the Texans, running for 137 yards and a couple of touchdowns on 16 carries.

Los Angeles Rams installed as -6.5 favorites

The NFC West title is still in play for the Los Angeles Rams after recording a critical 30-23 win over the Arizona Cardinals on Monday Night Football. It was an important victory for the Rams, who moved to within a game of the Cardinals for the lead in the division. The Rams currently hold a 9-4 record with four games remaining in their schedule.

Matthew Stafford made sure Arizona would not sweep them this season, completing 23 of 30 passes for 287 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 14. Odell Beckham Jr., Cooper Kupp, and Van Jefferson all caught touchdowns for the Rams, who won their second straight game after losing three in a row back in November.

The Rams managed to pull off the critical divisional win despite a COVID-19 outbreak decimating their roster. Five players were placed by the Rams on the reserve/COVID-19 list ahead of their MNF game, including star cornerback Jalen Ramsey, tight end Tyler Higbee and running back Darrell Henderson.

The good news for the Rams is that Higbee's test proved to be a false positive, and he is now available to return for the game against the Seahawks. The bad news for LA is that more Rams players are placed on the league's health and safety protocols.

On Tuesday, a total of nine players were placed by the Rams on the COVID-19 list, including Beckham Jr. He was superb in the win against Arizona, catching six passes for 77 yards and a score.
