The Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Bears will renew their long-standing rivalry this coming Sunday when they square off in a mouth-watering NFC North showdown at the Soldier Field. Which team will emerge with the pivotal win in this Packers vs Bears clash?
Green Bay Packers enter Week 6 as -4.5 favorites
Green Bay extended its winning streak to four games with a heart-stopping 25-22 overtime victory over the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 5. It was a huge win for the Packers, who maintained their one-game lead atop the NFC North standings.
Matt Crosby kicked the game-winning 49-yard field goal in overtime, but not before missing three in a row that nearly cost Green Bay the game. Fortunately for Crosby, his opposing kicker had problems of his own, with Bengals rookie Evan McPherson missing two field goal attempts that could have given Cincinnati the win both in regulation and overtime.
The Packers now set their sights on a 5-1 start when they travel to the Windy City to face the Chicago Bears this coming Sunday. The Packers will fancy their chances of doing just that as they have fared extremely well against their NFC North rivals of late. The Packers have won nine of their last 10 meetings with the Bears.
For Green Bay to extend its dominance against Chicago, the Packers will need Aaron Rodgers to continue his excellent play. He was superb in the win over Cincinnati, completing 27 of 39 passes for 344 yards with two touchdowns and one interception.

Chicago Bears installed as +4.5 underdogs
Matt Nagy's decision to make Justin Fields the Bears' permanent starting quarterback paid dividends in Week 5 as the rookie signal-caller led Chicago to an impressive 20-9 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders.
Fields was solid in his third career NFL start, completing 12 of 20 passes for 111 yards and tossing his first regular-season touchdown pass in the pro ranks to tight end Jesper Horsted. That gave Chicago a 7-3 lead over Las Vegas during the second quarter, which the Bears never relinquished.
Fields survived an injury scare in the win against the Raiders after Yannick Ngakoue sacked him in the second quarter. His left leg bent awkwardly after the hit, with Fields admitting that he hyperextended his left knee after the game.
Nagy praised Fields' toughness as the rookie QB returned to the game after missing just two plays. Fields completed a 12-yard pass to Allen Robinson upon his return, which helped set up Williams' touchdown run, giving the Bears a 14-3 lead.
Fields underwent more tests on Monday, and no problems were detected on his injured knee, with the star rookie expected to start for the Bears in their crunch clash with the Packers.
