2017 LG G6 May Beat Samsung Galaxy S8

LG G6 is the first smartphone after Google devices to feature Google Assistant AI. On the other hand, Samsung added one-touch virtual assistant Bixby in Galaxy S8. Both smartphones come into Phablet category.G6 sports 5.7-inch Full Vision 2880 × 1440 screen while Galaxy S8 sports 5.8-inch Super AMOLED 2960 × 1440 screen. If people want a bigger screen that they should go for Galaxy S8+.

Both LG G6 and Samsung Galaxy S8+ feature a 4 GB RAM. G6 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor while Galaxy S8 is powered by Samsung's latest Exynos processor. G6 comes in two variants: one offers 32 GB internal storage and other offers 64 GB internal storage. S8 offers 64 GB internal storage.

Design wise Galaxy S8 is better than G6. According to BGR, Galaxy S8 fits far more comfortably in one hand. It is also more compact and lighter than G6. Both phones are water resistant and feature strong glassed surface.

As written in recombu, Galaxy S8 doesn't stray far from the excellent snapper found in S7. Its 12-megapixel f/1.7 aperture lens should prove dependable in pretty much any conditions; complete with OIS and Dual Pixel autofocus same as before. It also offers up to 4K resolution video recording. LG offers a dual-lens rear camera in which one of those lenses offer a wide-angle view. G6's standard 13-megapixel lens has built-in OIS and it is impressively fast to focus. Its f/1.8 aperture helps to produce attractive night shots. It also offers up to 4K video shooting, capturing GIFs and montage pics.

LG G6 packs a 3,300 mAh battery, while Galaxy S8 runs on 3,000 mAh battery. Galaxy S8 can be charged using either USB-C or wireless technology. On the other hand, G6 can be charged using USB-C cable only with Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0 technology. Both smartphones can be half charged in about half an hour.

Right now, there is no conclusion which phone is the best as they are not available in the market. Both devices are solid with their own strength and some weaknesses. There is a tough road in the market for both devices.
