Phoenix is looking to avoid its first three-game skid of the season while Nashville comes in after having its three-game winning streak halted on Saturday.

The Coyotes fell to the Colorado Avalanche Saturday 4-3 in overtime and will look to bounce back.

"We had chances we didn't bury and when we let that team hang around, they are going to find ways to score goals," captain Shane Doan said via NHL.com. "Give them credit ... they've got some guys that can make plays, and they did."

Doan leads the Coyotes with 19 points off of 11 goals and eight assists while Martin Hanzal also has 19 points off of seven goals and 12 assists and Radim Vrbata has found the back of the net six times and added 12 assists for 18 points.

The Predators are coming off of a 2-0 loss at the hands of the New York Rangers on Saturday.

"They played a good defensive game," forward Eric Nystrom told NHL.com. "We had a hard time getting on the inside. They have some good-skating defensemen, and their forwards picked a lot of pucks off on the backcheck. We didn't move our feet enough, and they were catching us from behind."

The Predators have been led by David Legwand, who has 18 points off of four goals and 14 assists while Craig Smith has six tallies and eight helpers for 14 points and Patric Hornqvist has found the twine six times and added seven assists for 13 points. Hornqvist is sidelined with a lower-body injury.

With Pekka Rinne (hip) sidelined, Carter Hutton has appeared in 10 games and is 4-3-1 with a 3.39 goals-against average and a .891 save percentage for the Predators while Mike Smith is 12-4-4 with a 3.02 GAA and a .912 save percentage thus far this season.

The Coyotes hope to avoid a three-game skid while the Predators look to bounce back after a loss when these teams hit the ice tonight in Nashville.
