A representative for Brooke Hogan has reportedly said that the singer and daughter of legendary professional wrestler Hulk Hogan has called off her engagement and broken up with Dallas Cowboys lineman Phil Costa.
The cause of the split, according to E! Online is the fact that Hogan wants to focus on her music career because according to her representative, her career is "her passion and her love."
The rep also reported that Brooke moved back to Los Angeles with her mother, Linda, so that the two could be closer following the decision by Brooke to end things with Costa.
According to E! Online, Brooke Hogan is currently in the studio working on her next studio album which she expects to drop this spring.
"She's halfway through [the album] and expects to release it in the spring," the rep told E! Online.
The two announced their engagement back in June, at which point Linda Hogan expressed her excitement for Costa to join the family:

TMZ reported that Brooke, 25, called off the engagement to Costa, 26, Friday because things were moving "too far, too fast," for her.
Things have changed a lot since the two got engaged in June in Las Vegas when the actress/singer/model took to Instagram to share her excitement for the upcoming nuptials.
"Happiest moment of my LIFE. I am marrying my best friend. I wouldn't choose anyone else. I am so lucky and so grateful," Brooke wrote on her Instagram account following the engagement in Vegas, according to The Los Angeles Times.
Brooke and her family got a taste of reality T.V. in a show that chronicled the family entitled Hogan Knows Best that began when she was just 16 and eventually spun off into her own Brooke Knows Best reality show.
