Serbian Legend Milos Teodosic "Seriously Thinking" Of Playing In The NBA But Teams Need To Meet His Conditions

After months of speculation, Serbian point guard Milos Teodosic finally bared his plans of playing in the NBA after his contract expiration with CSKA Moscow in Europe. As of today, he insisted that his focus right now is to win back to back championships for the Reds.

In his blog published in Eurohoops, he confirmed the rumors that he is planning of playing to the NBA. That, however, will push through if the team that wants his services will meet both his competitive ambitions and the financial aspects on his contract.

"In order for me to go to the USA, a team has to meet both my competitive ambitions - which is the most important thing - and everything that has to do with the financial aspect as well as the aspect of the length of my contract," said Teodosic, who just turned 30 last March 19th. He is also thrilled about the opportunity of sharing the court with his fellow Serbian Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets.

The 6-foot-5 playmaker also bared that his summer will be a busy one. The veteran guard expressed his excitement for the upcoming EuroBasket, where he expressed his intentions of being part of his country's national team and said that he will always be available to play.

Jokic, Denver's primary big man, said in the video posted on the blog that Teodosic really has the capability of playing alongside the best guards in the league for his pal is a proven winner in Europe and all he need is an opportunity. "He wants to play here but I know he doesn't wants to come here and be on the bench," Jokic said in the interview as transcribed by the Nets Daily

Brooklyn, according on the same article, was identified as one of the teams who are very interested in signing Teodosic with the Nuggets as the other team who wants him on the roster. With their connections with CSKA, they appear to have the upper hand. With jeremy Lin running the point for the team, Teodosic would be a good fit for the team with both Lin and Teodosic are both capable scorers and both are capable of playing either the one or two spot.

The Nets have Trajan Langdon, who is one of the team's assistant general manager, to potentially persuade Teodosic after playing 8 years with the Russian club together with team owner Mikhail Prokhorov. Prokhorov was also the owner of CSKA Moscow for a decade but Teodosic arrived to the team when he is no longer in charge.
