iPhone 8: Latest Game Changer for Apple to Break Status Quo

It is probably time for iPhone lovers to cheer over the rumored iPhone 8 release this year as the world-renowned brand, Apple Inc has incorporated exciting features to its latest series. The new iPhone is said to have the largest screen in its history, removal of 'Home' button, and 'function area' to the Touch Bar similar to the latest MacBook.

The upcoming iPhone 8 is expected to be introduced in three designs, two with liquid crystal displays and one with a 5.8-inch organic light-emitting diode display, as cited in the Nikkei Asian Review report.

As reported by Forbes, rumor leaks showed that the new iPhone 8 display size 5.8 inch and also replacing 'Home' button with new biometric technologies.

Also, the introduction of the Touch Bar on its Macbook that captured the attention of the market when it was first launched will be integrated into the new iPhone 8 series as well. If this was 5 years ago, it will be unlikely to see this rumor flying around the market.

However, this is not supposed to be a surprise strategy by Apple today, considering the competitive market with the introduction of more Android-based smartphone makers and its close competitor, Samsung's tough act.

Apart from Samsung's recent release of the nearly powerful Galaxy S7, it is possible that Galaxy S8 could be the real motivation behind Apple's rumored iPhone 8 in the making rather than taking its own time like how it used to do in the past. To recap, Samsung has stated its intention to launch Galaxy S8 on March 29th this year.

If you observe closely, this pattern started since Samsung decided to up its game during the release of Galaxy S7 and Apple broke away from silence to fight back with the release of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

To go back even further, Samsung introduced its Galaxy S2 and poked at Apple with a controversial advertisement. Since then, the two have been on a close fight ever since and things got more intense with the shortening timespan of new smartphone, tablets, and accessories introduced into the market. The only question now is how far can Apple go with its new iPhone 8?
