WWE fans have been waiting to see the much talented Shinsuke Nakamura to make his debut in WWE main roster. Shinsuke has been associated with NXT and is expected to make his main roster debut this year post-Wrestlemania 33 Raw show.
Shinsuke Nakamura is a former 2-time NXT champion. After a successful career in Japan with New Japan Pro Wrestling. He was also IWGP Heavyweight Champion and IWGP Intercontinental Champion.
His NXT debut was at NXT Takeover: Dallas where he came up with one of the incredible matches of Wrestlemania 32 weekend and won against Sami Zayn before going to beat Samoa Joe for the next NXT Championship. He defended his title twice against Samoa Joe. Nakamura lost his NXT championship at TakeOver: San Antonio on the eve of the Royal Rumble and also suffered a knee injury in that match against Bobby Roode that fortunately didn't require surgery as reported by fox sports.
Nakamura has got the talent and is a potential WrestleMania opponent. He also expressed his wish in an interview to face the former WWE World Champion AJ Styles. "If the (Wrestlemania) opportunity presented itself, I want to do it. AJ doesn't have an opponent yet, I'd like to fill that spot. I've achieved a lot this year, but there's much more to do. I want to make more strides over the next year and show my true ability" said Nakamura to Yahoo.co.jp in an interview.
Jim Ross the very well known commentator in WWE has provided commentary for some of Nakamura's NJPW matches and thinks Nakamura is a giant star and is a special talent. With so many things said about him the question which still is unanswered is when can we see the 36-year-old in the main WWE roster? Mostly for a new wrestler, the best time to make their debut is considered to be either Royal Rumble or the night after Wrestlemania as reported by Daily DDT.
Some of the biggest debuts in WWE post Wrestlemania show are of superstars like Umaga, Paige, Mankind, Bill Goldberg and Brock Lesnar who made their debut on RAW after Wrestlemania. So this can be a perfect time for WWE to launch Nakamura on the big stage.
