The Predators are hopeful to turn things around tonight in Pittsburgh following a 3-1 loss to the New York Islanders Tuesday night.

"Maybe we got a little overconfident and [got] a dose of reality in the last three games," forward Eric Nystrom told NHL.com Wednesday. "We just have to get back to playing our style of hockey."

The Penguins are coming off of a 2-1 loss at the hands of the rival Philadelphia Flyers Tuesday at home in a game that saw the team jump out to a quick start but fail to capitalize.

"Just because you do have a good start doesn't guarantee anything, whether you score or don't score. You have to execute throughout the entire game," captain Sidney Crosby said, according to NHL.com. "Would it be nice to get rewarded? Absolutely, but sometimes it doesn't work out that way."

Crosby is the team's leading scorer with 24 points off of nine goals and 15 assists while Evgeni Malkin (three goals, 13 assists) and Chris Kunitz (eight tallies, eight helpers) each have 16 points.

Nashville, meanwhile, has been paced by David Legwand, who has lit the lamp four times and added 11 assists for 15 points while Patric Hornqvist has found the twine five times and added six assists for 11 points.

Nashville has been without Pekka Rinne (hip) in net as he's on injured reserve. Carter Hutton has started nine games this season and is 4-3-1 with a 3.53 GAA and a .887 save percentage while Marc-Andre Fleury has started 15 of 18 games and put together a 10-5-0 record along with a 2.07 GAA and a .921 save percentage.

Both these teams look to end three-game skids when they hit the ice tonight at Pittsburgh.
